i'll tell you a little secret.
i hate the word "sorry".
if anyone were to say that to me, it'll just make me mad.
"I'm sorry it turned out that way in the end."
"I'm sorry for hurting you."
"I'm sorry for not living up to your expectations."
"All i can say is i'm sorry."
is that so?
what use is an apology that makes the person you are
apologizing to, feel as though he haven done enough to appease you?
and that you are sorry because he didn't live up to your expectations?
sorry is not the word i like to hear very much.
instead, why not say this 2 simple words, " Thank you."
how does it sound?
"it did not turn out the way i expected. but i thank you for your effort."
"Even though you're not the person i am looking for, i thank you for everything you've done."
"it has come to an end for us. but i want to let you know i appreciate all the effort you've put in."
see?
Thanking someone actually makes that person feel better. And its way much better than
saying "sorry" :)
start appreciating the little things that people do for you no matter what the reason.
be thankful.
